We had the first fledglings this year at Memorial Park. Hurray! There has been some good activity at most of our sites. Unfortunately, we have been battling some very determined House Sparrows at the Senior Center. They make nests and lay eggs faster than our volunteers can clean the boxes. We will have to keep a close eye on the boxes and may need to find some creative solutions at preventing the Sparrow’s return.

We are closely watching our young Bluebirds for any signs of Blowfly infestation. We hope to have some more fledglings at Beeman Creak very soon. For now, make sure you get out and enjoy the weather.
